Gr. 7-9: THINKFast

On March 13 and 14 grades 7 to 9 students are invited to participate in ‘THINKFast’, a 25-hour educational and fundraising fast hosted by SMA’s Development and Peace Team. Students will begin fasting at 7:30 AM on Friday, March 13 and will break fast together with a community pancake breakfast on Saturday, March 14.

On Friday, March 13 students will be dismissed from classes at 2:30 PM and will take part in activities, reflections and a sleepover in SMA’s multi-purpose room. Sign-up and parental consent forms were distributed to grades 7 to 9 students, these forms can also be picked up in the Campus Ministry Office.

There is a minimum $20 donation for participants, donations can be made at www.devp.org/thinkfast/2792. Donations can be made throughout Lent, until April 10. All money raised goes to Development and Peace’s campaign to assist people affected by fires in the Amazon.
