St. Mary’s Academy operates on a 6-day cycle. Each day of the cycle there are six 55-minute classes with time for class change in between. Students in Grades 7 and 8 do not have unscheduled time. Senior high students could have 2-8 unscheduled class periods per cycle, depending on grade level and course selection. Free time may be spent in the library, the cafeteria, an available classroom or computer lab.
The school day begins at 8:35 a.m. Students who arrive early may go to their homerooms, the library or the cafeteria until the welcome bell rings at 8:30 a.m. By 8:35 a.m., everyone should be in their first period classroom for O Canada, prayer and announcements.
Leaving Campus
Grade 7 and 8 students are required to remain on campus during the school day. Senior students may leave the campus.
