Walk for Cancer

Each year, grades 8 to 12 students participate in a Walk for Cancer. Participation is mandatory. Each student provides a $10 donation with net proceeds donated to the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.

- Grades 9 to 12 walk from St. Paul's High School to Assiniboine Park and back to St. Paul's where there are afternoon activities. SMA students walk with students from Balmoral Hall and St. Paul's.

- Grade 8s walk from SMA to Assiniboine Park and back. 

Letters regarding specifics about the Walk went home with your daughter. If you do not receive the letter, or require further information, please get in touch with:

If the Walk for Cancer has to be cancelled due to inclement weather, we will email families and post a notice on our website by 8:00 AM on September 19. In such a case, it will be a regular school day.
