Thursday, April 2, begins the shortest but most powerful season of the Liturgical year: the sacred Triduum—Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Holy Saturday, followed by Easter Sunday. The scripture, song, ritual, and symbols in the Liturgies of Holy Week invite us to walk alongside Jesus on his journey to the cross, and ultimately to His resurrection Easter Sunday— the climax of our Christian story. Easter reminds us that we share in this new life, and that death and darkness are overcome with the life and light of Christ. Christ is Risen—Indeed He is Risen! Alleluia! SMA wishes all our families a Happy Easter.
