Ash Wednesday Service

The season of Lent is the six-week period leading up to Easter. It begins with Ash Wednesday on Wednesday, February 14 and continues through until Holy Thursday on Thursday, March 28. Lent is a time of spiritual renewal. We use this time to grow closer to God through the practices of prayer, fasting and almsgiving. At SMA, we begin our Lenten journey with an Ash Wednesday Prayer Service and Ash Distribution on Wednesday, February 14 at 11:40 AM in Alumnae Hall.
